About William M. Sparks

I have been in the insurance business since 1974. I started out as a life insurance agent working through Metropolitan Life and became a Life Specialist with Safeco Insurance Co. While there I was trained in Pension Planning and Advance Life Insurance Planning.

I became an agent for a local insurance agent working with his customers and trying to acquire new business for his agency. I obtained my Property and Casualty License while I was in his employment. After he decided to close his agency, I opened my own business and I was proud to represent one of the best insurance companies in the country. I was one of the first agents in the Baltimore County area for the Erie Insurance Group. I was appointed by the current President of the company and have had a successful agency since 1981. I also represent another fine company, Progressive Insurance. Both companies have been there for my policyholders which has given us the ability to stay competitive and provide satisfactory service to my accounts.
